8-part youth series on the subject of love and sexuality. The self-contained episodes focus on young people between the ages of 12 and 18. Their experiences, especially during puberty, are accompanied by contradictory feelings, curiosity and fear, hopes and disappointments. The eight stories tell how they deal with these feelings. They are therefore not to be understood as sex education films, but rather confront young people with the question of the interpersonal significance and the consequences of sexuality in relationships. Topics such as first menstruation, first sexual contact, homosexuality, wanted and unwanted pregnancy, partner problems and conflicts at home are addressed and portrayed, as are the possible psychological consequences of AIDS.

In Vienna, Lotti Portuné, a widow embassy councillor, sees a report on television in which she recognizes her childhood sweetheart Ernst, a skipper on the Elbe. He is still sailing the Elbe on the barge named 'Lotti' in her honor. Lotti doesn't think twice and sets off to visit Ernst. But she had imagined the reunion differently. What was supposed to be just a joyride turns into an escape from creditors who want to chain up the barge.

IN SEARCH OF STOLEN TIME narrates how the present-day labour systems and the contemporality of time have forged themselves in mutual interference since the Middle Ages. This documentary film also makes an attempt to sketch out the future development driven by cutting-edge technologies and definitions of productivity and optimisation.

Divorced hotel employee Hans seems to have lost his son Moritz forever. His ex-wife Linda wants to emigrate to Denmark with him and her new boyfriend. Although he is a man, he no longer has any say in society, because men are, after all, evolution's discontinued models. And since feminism has long been institutionalized, society is becoming more and more feminine and he has fewer and fewer opportunities, he feels powerless and helpless against his ex's decision. So he decides to sit on the dancing lime tree in the middle of the market square to protest against all these injustices.

The widower Danyal worries about his adult daughter Jila, even though the doctor has long been on her own feet. However, as soon as they arrive, the three realize that they know very little about the lives of the young women. Jila doesn't want to talk to Danyal because she believes he is responsible for the failure of several relationships, the unsuccessful actress Tilda is burdened by her father's excessive career expectations and Hanna confronts the complacent judge Markus about a secret marriage for legally questionable reasons. The three fathers' short trip develops a dynamic of its own that also pushes the daughters to their limits.
